Frans has grown up on a nearby farm where he developed his love for the nature, wildlife conservation and hunting. He is qualified professional hunter since 2005, and will manage the on-farm activities which include hunting, wildlife viewing, and hiking trails. Frans's wife Lizanda is the manager of the on-farm guest house where hunters, wildlife viewers or hikers could relax and share their experiences of the day in a tranquil environment. Tonie has been an avid wildlife observer and hunter for the past 55 years. Over the years, Tonie has developed a natural ability to understand the South African wildlife's behavioural patterns. He's interest in nature has been revived in 1990 with the establishment of a breeding program for exotic African species. The wildlife areas are divided over three different connected farms, which are situated in the Jacobsdal District, Free State Province of South Africa. It's approximately a 1h drive (83 km) south of Kimberly. The landscape can be best described by open grasslands, scrubs, patches of threes and scattered hills. Currently, 24 different wildlife species graze the land of Exotic Safaris, of which 9 are exotic. The exotic species include: Golden Wildebeest, Sable and Roan Antelope, Black Impala, and different Springbok and Blesbok variations. The aim of Exotic Safaris is to extend its current breeding program to accommodate more rare species like white Kudu.
